WTO's members welcome Yemen accession




GENEVA, July 05(Saba)- Members of the World Trade Organization (WTO) have welcomed
in their meeting in Geneva Yemen joining to WTO based on 2002 decision .

Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakil has met with Chairman of the
Accession Department in WTO and dicussed several issues on preparing for the team
next meeting and developments in the legislative aspects, in addition to reviewing
what have been achieved in the bilateral meeting between Yemen and a number of WTO's
members .

On the sidelines of the WTO'S meeting, al-Mutawakil also has discussed with Japanese
ambassador aspects to strengthen the bilateral negotiations between the two friendly
countries .

Yemeni delegation has also held several bilateral meetings with Canada, Australia,
South Korea and Honduras in which they discussed ways of marketing goods .

The World Trade Organization is an international organization designed by its
founders to supervise and liberalize international trade.
