SNACC includes CSOs heads in financial disclosure recognitions
SANA'A, July 05 (Saba) - The Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption
(SNACC) is currently preparing a project to include heads of Civil Society
Organizations (CSOs) as well as the political parties and organizations within a
listto submit their financial disclosures.
Head of the Financial Disclosure Sector at SNACC Mohammad al-Matari declared that
this procedure comes within what is done in most world countries.
This procedure is important in encouraging workers in both private and public
sectors to comply with the standards of transparency and promote integrity, he
added.
He also made clear that the SNACC, at the same time, is working on arranging another
list of government jobs such as collectors of taxes and fees, directors of traffic
branches and others.
SNACC had received until the end of June 9, 500 recognitions of financial
disclosures, and is preparing to send forms to renew these ecognitions scheduled to
be received from the 10th of October, 2009.
