HM King congratulated by Amir of Kuwait on Gulf Cup victory

Manama, Jan. 5 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, on Bahrain’s victory in the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup, hosted by Kuwait from 21 December 2024 to 4 January 2025.

His Highness commended the outstanding performance of the Bahrain national football team and praised the high sportsmanship displayed by all participating teams, as well as the large attendance of spectators, which reflected the strong bonds among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

In response, His Majesty sent a cable of thanks to from His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, expressing his gratitude and appreciation for the Amir’s kind sentiments. His Majesty praised the outstanding performances and sportsmanship of both the Bahraini and Omani teams and commended Kuwait’s successful organisation of the tournament. His Majesty conveyed his best wishes to all for success in future competitions and wished the State of Kuwait continued progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.
