AZERBAIJAN MARKS 90th JUBILEE OF ITS DIPLOMATIC SERVICE
Baku, July 8 (AzerTAc). An international conference commemorating the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan`s Diplomatic Service has got underway bringing together officials, foreign diplomats accredited in Baku and the country`s ambassadors abroad.
The event is held under the motto “Azerbaijan in global policy: Forming foreign policy”.
The conference was opened by Azerbaijan Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov who spoke of the ministry`s history.
The conference will feature several sessions, which will hear reports on topics “Security and conflicts in the region: seeking power balance” and “Economic and energy development in the region – a foreign policy factor”.
