73 WORKING GROUPS FOR INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION EXIST IN MILLI MAJLIS

Baku. July 9 (AzerTAc). Working groups for liaison with legislative bodies of 73 countries exist in the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, according to the Vice-Speaker of the Milli Majlis Bahar Muradova. She said friendship groups play an important role in developing interparliamentary ties.
Milli Majlis is the full member of the Interparliamentary Union, PACE, CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, PABSEC, Parliamentary Assembly of Turkish-speaking countries, GUAM PA, associated member of the NATO PA.
Azerbaijani MPs regularly participate in the international meetings to raise world community1s awareness about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
