PRESIDENT OF SYRIA BASHAR AL-ASSAD MEETS AZERBAIJANI PREMIER
Baku, July 9 (AzerTAc). Visiting President of Syria Bashar al-Assad has met here today with Azerbaijani Premier Artur Rasizade.
Head of the Syrian State hailed talks held with President Ilham Aliyev, which laid basis for expanding bilateral ties in all fields. On the prospects of Syria-Azerbaijan economic cooperation, President of Syria highlighted importance of bilateral documents signed for establishing contacts between businessmen of both countries.
Prime Minister Rasizade briefed President of Syria on the economic reforms carried out in Azerbaijan. He expressed assurance that Syrian President`s first visit will give a fillip to economic cooperation between the two countries.
