Three-Day Absolut Bazaar Singapore Featuring Malaysian Vendors, Celebrities Kicks Off Friday

SINGAPORE, March 14 (Bernama) -- Over 300 vendors, the majority of them Malaysian entrepreneurs, will be featured at the inaugural Absolut Bazaar Singapore from Friday until March 16 at Singapore EXPO.

Organiser and Absolut Events co-founder Nadiyah Shahab said the exciting event promises to bring some of Malaysia’s beloved brands right to the heart of Singapore, offering locals the perfect opportunity to shop ahead of the upcoming Eid celebration.

“Among the Malaysian brands participating are FIZIWOO and Shawlpublika. It will be held both indoors and outdoors. In addition to retail, we will also have 50 food and beverage booths outdoors,” she told Bernama.

Products for sale at the event include clothing, cosmetics, accessories, and home decor.

A variety of activities have been line up for for the event, including meet-and-greet sessions with popular Malaysian celebrities, such as the casts of the drama Curang Tanpa Niat - Shukri Yahaya and Mira Filzah - as well as Kahar Kapla High Council actors Aedy Ashraf, Amir Ahnaf, and Sky Iskandar.

Visitors can also enjoy performances by Malaysian artists namely Amy Search, Ajai, Iman Troye and others.

Meanwhile, S$10,000 (S$1 = RM3.30) will be up for grabs in the Absolut Bazaar signature activity, the money chamber, for the first 100 visitors.

“Building on the success of our first event in Singapore, the Absolut Food Fest last year, we are more prepared to cater to the Singapore market this year, with improved facilities and more seating areas, especially for those who plan to shop and break their fast at the venue,” she said, adding that the company is targeting around S$8 million in sales.

The 44-hour shopping experience at Hall 4 will run from 12 pm to 2 am on March 14, from 9 am to 2 am on March 15, and from 9 am to 10 pm on March 16, and more information available at @absolutbazaar on Instagram.
