AZERBAIJANI FOREIGN MINISTRY OPENS ITS MUSEUM
Baku, July 9 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s foreign ministry has today inaugurated its museum as the country celebrates 90th anniversary of its diplomatic service.
The opening ceremony brought together state and government officials, including Azerbaijan`s ambassadors abroad.
The museum features a wide range of historical material, including documents from archives of Turkey, Italy, France, Czech Republic and Great Britain and also the League of Nations.
It also houses documents concerning foreign policy of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev.
FM Elmar Mammadyarov signed the museum`s guest book.
The ceremony also featured the launch of two books dealing with the history of Azerbaijan`s diplomacy - “Foreign policy of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. Collection of documents” and “Foreign policy of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (1918-1920)”.
