Foreign Minister meets Japan’s Assistant Foreign Minister

Manama, Apr. 20 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Ambassador Ando Toshihide, Assistant Foreign Minister and Director General of the Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau at Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting reviewed the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Japan and the ongoing growth in bilateral cooperation. Discussions covered the means to expand collaboration across various sectors for the mutual benefit of both countries and peoples, in addition to the latest regional developments and issues of shared interest.

The meeting was attended by Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ahmed Mohammed Al Doseri, Ambassador of Bahrain to Japan; Muneera Nofal Al Doseri, Chief of the Asia and Pacific Affairs Sector; and Okai Asako, Ambassador of Japan to Bahrain.
