Foreign Minister meets Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister

Manama, Apr. 20 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Fuad Mohammed Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The meeting reviewed the longstanding relations between the two countries and explored means to further develop bilateral cooperation across various domains in support of shared interests. Both sides also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Talal AbdulSalam Al Ansari, Undersecretary for Consular and Administrative Affairs; Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director-General of Bilateral Relations; Ahmed Mohammed Al Turaifi, Head of the Arab and African Affairs Sector; Saeed Abdul Khaliq Saeed, Director of the Coordination and Follow-up Sector; Dr. Ihsan Alawi Al Dulaimi, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Iraq to Bahrain.
