Electricity Minister receives Italian Ambassador

Manama, Apr. 29 (BNA):  Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, received Andrea Catalano, Italian Ambassador to Bahrain.

The minister highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and Italy, noting the positive development of cooperation across various sectors.

The discussion focused on enhancing strategic partnership opportunities between the two countries, particularly through the exchange of expertise in energy efficiency.

Both sides also explored prospects for advancing investment and collaboration in the fields of renewable and clean energy.

On his part, Ambassador Catalano expressed his appreciation to the minister and reaffirmed his country’s interest in expanding areas of cooperation with the Kingdom.
