CBB Governor meets Senior Deputy Governor of Banca d'Italia

Rome, Apr. 30 (BNA): Khalid Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain, met with Luigi Federico Signorini, Senior Deputy Governor of Banca d'Italia, as part of Bahrain’s delegation’s visit to Italy to enhance economic and trade ties.

The Governor emphasised the need to further develop the financial services sector by adopting and implementing policies and strategies aligned with the latest financial technologies. He also highlighted the value of exchanging best practices and experiences with regional and international financial institutions to drive economic development and support sustainable growth.

The meeting also discussed means of enhancing cooperation in financial services and other topics of mutual interest.
