HM King commends Bahraini workers’ role in driving development, supporting economy

Manama, May 1 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa praised the contributions of Bahraini workers in advancing national development and supporting the Kingdom’s economic progress.

HM the King commended the commitment, creativity, and professionalism of Bahraini workers, noting their active role across all sectors in shaping Bahrain’s growth and prosperity.

In a reply cable to Yousef bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labour, on the occasion of International Workers’ Day, His Majesty expressed appreciation for the achievements of Bahrain’s labour movement and its continued efforts to serve the interests of the workforce.

His Majesty congratulated Bahraini workers on the occasion, expressing gratitude to every individual who has dedicated time and effort to the Kingdom’s development.

HM the King emphasised the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting all initiatives aimed at enhancing workers’ rights and protections. His Majesty highlighted the vital role of the national workforce in building a sustainable and prosperous future.

His Majesty also commended the Ministry of Labour’s efforts to equip Bahraini youth with the skills needed for today’s labour market and to implement employment programmes that expand opportunities for citizens.

His Majesty expressed pride in the dedication of Bahraini citizens and their collective spirit in serving the nation, highlighting their excellence and sense of responsibility in representing the Kingdom.
