HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Legal Affairs Minister and Acting Labour Minister

Manama, May 1 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Excellency Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labour, on the occasion of Labour Day.

His Royal Highness praised the capabilities, dedication, and excellence of Bahrain’s national workforce across all sectors. His Royal Highness emphasised Bahraini citizens’ role as a core part of Team Bahrain and their contributions to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Royal Highness extended his gratitude to Bahraini citizens for their steadfast determination, which continues to drive the Kingdom’s progress. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the workforce’s loyalty and dedication to national service.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to prioritising its citizens in national development, praising their strong sense of belonging and unwavering dedication that continue to elevate Bahrain’s reputation regionally and internationally.

His Royal Highness also expressed pride in the national workforce’s role in shaping a prosperous future for the Kingdom. In this regard, His Royal Highness underscored ongoing efforts to develop and upskill Bahraini talent to keep pace with emerging job market opportunities. These efforts align with initiatives by the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), led by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of both the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), in partnership with the Ministry of Labour and the private sector.

For his part, His Excellency Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s continued support of the national workforce. His Excellency affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to implementing His Royal Highness’s directives to empower Bahraini citizens.

His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, also attended the meeting.
