Deputy Prime Minister receives Omani Finance Minister

Manama, May 8 (BNA): Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, received Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi, Minister of Finance of the Sultanate of Oman.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, attended the meeting.
Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla underscored the strength of the historical ties between Bahrain and Oman, supported by the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman.
The Deputy Premier also emphasised on the coordination between His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs in Oman, which continues to enhance economic integration and strategic cooperation for the benefit of both countries.
Shaikh Khalid commended Oman’s efforts in financial and economic development. He also praised the broader progress Oman has achieved across various sectors, reflecting its comprehensive development approach.
Minister Al Habsi affirmed Oman’s commitment to further strengthening ties with Bahrain. He noted that the growing cooperation reflects the shared vision of both leaderships to advance common development goals.
