Makkah Police Arrest Resident for Promoting Fake Hajj Campaign

   Makkah, May 20, 2025, SPA -- Security patrols in Makkah arrested a Bangladeshi resident for fraud after he posted fake Hajj campaign advertisements on social media, falsely offering accommodation and transport in the holy sites. He was referred to the Public Prosecution following his arrest and legal procedures.
   Public Security urged citizens and residents to comply with Hajj regulations and report violations by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and the Eastern regions, and 999 in other areas.
