Housing Ministry participates in Third Gulf Housing Week in Kuwait

Kuwait, May 21 (BNA): The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Eskan Bank took part in discussions held alongside the Third Gulf Housing Conference in Kuwait.
The ministry highlighted Bahrain’s efforts to enhance housing services and promote innovation through public-private partnerships.
The ministry noted its strategy to diversify housing options and address growing demand for social housing by leveraging smart technologies and expanding cooperation with the private sector. These efforts aim to ensure long-term sustainability and optimise the use of available resources.
The ministry also showcased its new initiatives launched during the recent Social Housing Innovation Conference in April, including the Tamouh (ambition) programme, off-plan sales for government and private land development, and an updated version of the Bayti (My House) real estate platform.
It aims to increase the national housing stock and support real estate firms in delivering affordable housing aligned with citizens' financing capacities.
Eskan Bank highlighted the success of the Bayti platform, which has attracted over 30,000 users from the public and private sectors. The Bank also announced plans to implement a digital tracking system to streamline housing application and ownership processes.
