Education Minister congratulates students on three GCC Robotics Olympiad medals

Dubai, May 21 (BNA): Bahrain’s student delegation achieved outstanding results at the second edition of the GCC Robotics Olympiad, organised by the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States in Dubai, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates.

 

The delegation won the gold medal in the Scientific Innovation category for the "Gulf Tech City" project, another gold medal in the Engineering Design category, and a silver medal in the Social Impact category.

 

Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, congratulated the Bahraini students on their achievement, which reflects the high educational and technical standards provided by schools in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He emphasised the ministry’s continued efforts to support and develop the abilities of gifted students in all domains, particularly in robotics, artificial intelligence, and technical project design.

 

The Bahrain delegation included students Aliya Zuhair Isa, Zahraa Abdulredha Mohamed, and Jinan Al Sayyed Yassin Al Mousawi from Saar Secondary Girls School, and Mohamed Abdulameer Kazem, Hamad Abdulla Abdulhadi, and Hadi Zakaria Al Mattouq from Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Institute of Technology.
