HM King receives Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister

Manama, May 21 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, at Al Safriya Palace on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Majesty the King expressed pride in the longstanding ties and deep-rooted historical relations between Bahrain and Jordan, noting their continued development driven by mutual commitment to enhance cooperation in means that serve common interests.
Safadi conveyed here the greetings and gratitude of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan, and wished for Bahrain’s continued progress and prosperity.
His Majesty the King extended greetings and sincere wishes to HM King Abdullah II and to the people of Jordan for continued growth and success.
HM the King welcomed the visiting official and highlighted the importance of such visits in supporting coordination and consultation between the two countries amid ongoing regional developments.
HM the King also expressed appreciation for the efforts of HM King Abdullah II in advancing Bahrain-Jordan relations and commended Jordan’s role, under HM King Abdullah II leadership, in advancing joint Arab action and supporting peace, security, and stability in the region.
The meeting also covered regional and international developments of mutual interest, particularly the situation in the Middle East, with an exchange of views on these matters.
On his part, Safadi expressed gratitude for HM the King’s ongoing interest in deepening the bilateral ties. He commended Bahrain’s principled Arab positions under the leadership of HM the King and the level of coordination and cooperation between Bahrain and Jordan across various domains.
