Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex Provides Guarantee for Increased Production

 Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- The Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex in the DPRK is providing a guarantee for increased production of iron and steel while introducing and utilizing Korean-style metallurgical technology.
The complex completed overhauling of 100-ton UHP electric arc furnace at high qualitative level while shortening the planned period by half.
All the processes of the 100-ton UHP electric arc furnace are running on a normal basis and the steelmaking time has been shortened than before.
The complex also made progress in the work to further perfect the energy-saving oxygen heat blast furnace technically. -0-
