Many Trees Planted in Jagang Province

 Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) -- Jagang Province in the DPRK planted tens of millions of trees in over 26 000 hectares through mass movement during the spring tree planting.
Working people in Kanggye City planted pine-nut trees, black walnut trees and Aronia melanocarpa on the surrounding mountains.
Manpho City planted trees through mass movement to finish the spring tree planting plan ahead of others.
Thanks to the efforts of officials and working people in Huichon City, trees of good species such as vitamin trees and Evodia daniellii Benn were planted in the mountains of the region.
Ryongnim County has planted over 300 000 more trees as against the same period of last year.
Sijung, Wiwon, Janggang, Chosan and other counties have planted trees by introducing the methods of increasing the rate of rooting while sharing and generalizing the experience of the advanced units.
