National Competitiveness Center and London Business School Sign Agreement

London, May 29, 2025, SPA -- The National Competitiveness Center and London Business School signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing academic content and case studies based on Saudi Arabia’s economic and developmental reforms and initiatives. These materials will be integrated into the school’s executive education curriculum, reinforcing the Kingdom’s position as a global model for transformational economic policy in academic circles.
Minister of Commerce and National Competitiveness Center Chairman Majid Al-Kassabi and the dean of London Business School Professor Sergei Guriev attended the signing ceremony in London.
Al-Kassabi also met with University College London (UCL) President Dr. Michael Spence to explore opportunities for establishing joint programs and executive courses tailored for Saudi leadership in areas such as innovation and entrepreneurship. Discussions addressed the launch of capacity-building programs, the participation of Saudi experts in executive education in the United Kingdom (UK), and the expansion of knowledge exchange initiatives and research partnerships.
The meetings were part of a Saudi delegation visit led by Al-Kassabi, who is chairman of the Economic and Social Committee of the Saudi-British Strategic Partnership Council. The delegation included officials from nine government entities and 35 business leaders from major national companies. The visit aims to follow up on the progress of council-led initiatives, strengthen ties across priority economic sectors, and deepen the partnership between the two friendly countries.
