LCGPA Signs Agreement to Localize Heat Recovery System Technology

   Riyadh, May 29, 2025, SPA -- The Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA) signed an agreement with SNT Gulf for Industry to localize the manufacturing and transfer of knowledge for heat recovery systems, under the patronage and supervision of the Ministry of Energy. The agreement includes listing the product on the mandatory list of national products.
   The initiative is part of ongoing government efforts to enhance local content in the energy sector. It aims to strengthen supply chains for targeted products and improve the efficiency of power generation plants by introducing new industries that support the development of a sustainable industrial base within the Kingdom.
   LCGPA Chief Executive Abdulrahman Al-Samari stated that the agreement is expected to contribute around SAR2.6 billion to the Kingdom’s gross domestic product (GDP) and create over 250 new jobs, further supporting self-sufficiency in the energy sector.
