TGA Announces Launch of Sustainable Maritime Industry Conference

   Jeddah, May 29, 2025, SPA -- The Transport General Authority (TGA) announced the holding of the second Sustainable Maritime Industry Conference (SMIC25) under the theme "Sailing Towards a Sustainable Future.”
   The conference will be held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Jeddah on September 3 and 4 under the patronage of Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and TGA Board Chairman Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser.
   The announcement builds on the remarkable success of the first conference in 2023, which witnessed the participation of more than 2,000 specialists and interested parties from 170 countries and included more than 50 international experts and speakers in dialogue sessions and strategic workshops. The conference marked a pivotal turning point in the global maritime sustainability agenda.
   The two-day conference includes an open international dialogue bringing together maritime industry leaders and representatives of international organizations, government agencies, and the private sector to discuss the most prominent challenges, opportunities, and technological and legislative transformations in the vital sector from a sustainability perspective.
