HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Bahrain

Manama, June 1 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Excellency Md Rais Hasan Sarower, ndc, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace.

His Royal Highness emphasised the strength of the longstanding Bahrain-Bangladesh relations, highlighting the mutual commitment to further strengthening ties to achieve shared aspirations.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad welcomed the Ambassador and wished him success in carrying out his diplomatic duties, noting the importance of his role in advancing bilateral relations and fostering multisectoral cooperation.

The meeting also covered a range of issues of common interest, explored ways to further develop bilateral ties, and reviewed the latest regional and international developments.

For his part, the Ambassador expressed his appreciation for His Royal Highness’s support in enhancing Bahrain-Bangladesh relations and conveyed his best wishes for the Kingdom’s continued progress and prosperity.

His Excellency Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, also attended the meeting.
