Contest of Lathe Operators and Pipe-makers Held in DPRK

 Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- A contest of lathe operators and pipe-makers took place at the Kumsong Tractor Factory of the DPRK from May 27 to June 5 as part of the "Contest of Skilled Workers with Different Jobs in Various Sectors of National Economy-2025". 
The contest brought together skilled workers selected from ministries, national agencies and provincial people's committees, including the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry and the Ministry of Machine-building Industry.
The participants in the contest ensured the quality and speed of production while displaying their high technical skills constantly improved at their worksites and the collectivist spirit. 
The contest standings were announced on Thursday. The excellent skilled workers won trophies and medals, diplomas in the name of the C.C., General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea and prizes. -0-
