Modernization of Machine-building Industry Propelled

 Pyongyang, June 7 (KCNA) -- The machine-building industrial sector of the DPRK is remodeling and modernizing factories and enterprises and bolstering their production capacity.
The Ministry of Machine-building Industry has established a work system for carrying out the project of modernization and attaining the goal of readjustment and reinforcement and controlled and reviewed the actual conditions of relevant units, bringing scientific and technological guidance closer to production fields.
The officials and builders of the Ryongsong Machine Complex are carrying out the construction of various projects at the final stage while conducting all the undertakings according to technical requirements. And they are upgrading the performance of dozens of equipment including drilling machine, multipurpose machine tool, turning lathe and medium frequency induction furnace by enlisting its own technical forces while installing hundreds of equipment. Progress is also being made in robotizing machine element production processes.
The Taean Heavy Machine Complex is directing efforts to recycling waste oil.
The Ranam Coal-mining Machine Factory is stepping up the modernization of overhead cranes and the establishment of more heat-treatment furnaces with the main emphasis on further reinforcing the existing processes.
The Anju Pumping Factory and the Saenal Electric Appliances Factory are making full preparations for building processes to produce equipment and parts needed at regional-industry factories. -0-
