Gulf Air: Passenger disturbance on Flight GF213 to Kuwait handled in coordination with relevant authorities

Manama, June 8 (BNA): Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, affirmed that flight GF213 from the Kingdom of Bahrain to the State of Kuwait on June 8, 2025 experienced a disturbance caused by one of the passengers, who is a GCC citizen, prompting the activation of precautionary and security measures in accordance with set procedures.

The airline added that the situation was handled in full coordination with the relevant authorities in the State of Kuwait, where the passenger was detained by airport police upon the aircraft’s arrival at Kuwait International Airport. All passengers were safely disembarked.

A statement issued by Gulf Air said the airline regrets any inconvenience caused to its passengers and affirms that the safety and well-being of its passengers and crew members remain its top priority. Gulf Air also extended its appreciation to the Kuwaiti authorities for their utmost professionalism and prompt response in handling the situation and ensuring the highest standards of safety and security.
