Justice Minister commends success of 1446H Hajj season

Manama, June 8 (BNA): Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, commended the success of the 1446 Hijri Hajj season.
He attributed the achievement to the royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to ensure the best support for Bahraini pilgrims, and the close follow up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which contributed to coordinated efforts to serve pilgrims and meet their needs throughout the season.
Al Maawda lauded the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in leading the pilgrimage season under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the follow up of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. He said these efforts enabled pilgrims to perform the rites with ease, safety, and reassurance.
He also underscored the contributions of the security team from the Ministry of Interior, the medical delegation from the Ministry of Health, and the scout teams from the Ministry of Education, along with other committees within Bahrain’s Hajj mission, led by Shaikh Adnan bin Abdullah Al Qattan, Head of the Bahrain Hajj Mission.
Al Maawda commended their dedication in serving Bahraini pilgrims, implementing operational plans, and attending to their needs in the holy sites.
He also highlighted Saudi Arabia’s advanced capabilities in crowd management and movement, using the latest technologies, and expressed his wishes for continued security, prosperity and stability for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The minister expressed appreciation to Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, and the ministry’s team for their cooperation with the Bahraini mission and commitment to enhancing coordination and facilitating services for pilgrims.
