Foreign Minister receives US Ambassador to Bahrain

Manama, June 11 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Steven C. Bondy, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the Ministry’s headquarters.

The meeting reviewed the longstanding relations and close ties between Bahrain and the United States and discussed means to enhance cooperation across various domains in support of mutual interests. The two sides also addressed regional and international matters of common concern.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Khaled Yousef Al Jalahma, Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Saeed Abdul Khaliq, Director of the Coordination and Follow-up Sector.
