HM King receives call from HRH Saudi Crown Prince

Manama, June 22 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a telephone call from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The call discussed the strong historical ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, and the ongoing close coordination and cooperation in various domains.

They also discussed recent developments in the region, including the Israeli attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran and the targeting of Iranian nuclear facilities by the United States of America. They underscored the solidarity of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in these sensitive circumstances facing the region, and the importance of restraint, avoiding escalation, and resolving all disputes through diplomatic means.
