HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak directs research commencement to select winner of Isa Award for Service to Humanity

Manama, June 23 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Special Representative of His Majesty the King and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa Award for Service to Humanity, has directed the commencement of field research to determine the winner of the sixth edition of the Award (2024-2025).

The Board of Trustees approved the shortlist of candidates, following the recommendation of the International Jury Committee chaired by Professor Jan Paulsson.

Following the Board’s approval, a team including Secretary-General Ali Abdullah Khalifa and Board member Ali Al Aradi travelled to Bangladesh to evaluate BRAC’s humanitarian work and ensure it meets the Award’s criteria.

The Board of Trustees is working to finalise all necessary arrangements for the announcement of the winner and the organisation of the award ceremony, which will be held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
