Industry Minister participates in Bahrain-Saudi Industrial Integration Meeting

Riyadh, June 23 (BNA): Abdullah bin Adel Fakhr, Minister of Industry and Commerce, participated in the Bahrain-Saudi Industrial Integration Meeting held at Dhahran Expo in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. The meeting was organised within the framework of the Saudi Industry Forum (SIF) 2025, and aligned with the directives of the Bahrain-Saudi Coordination Council.
Minister Fakhro co-chaired the meeting alongside Khalil bin Ibrahim bin Salamah, Saudi Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industrial Affairs. The session brought together senior officials from both countries to review progress and set strategic directions for advancing bilateral industrial cooperation.
He emphasised the strong Bahraini-Saudi ties, particularly in the industrial and commercial sectors. He underlined the importance of sustaining momentum in joint initiatives and building on the foundations laid by the leadership of both kingdoms. He also highlighted the continued commitment of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to enhancing economic and strategic ties between the two kingdoms.
Minister Fakhro commended the role of the Bahrain-Saudi Coordination Council, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, for its efforts in enhancing joint cooperation and aligning industrial policies between the two countries.
Participants reviewed the outcomes of the first phase of industrial integration and signed an agreement launching the second phase. Minister Fakhro said that the new phase is a milestone in bilateral cooperation, one that opens up broader prospects for joint industrial initiatives and deeper economic alignment.
He emphsised Bahrain’s commitment to working closely with Saudi Arabia to drive sustainable industrial growth, create opportunities for both business sectors, and contribute to the region’s overall economic development.
