Industry Minister receives US Ambassador

Manama, July 1 (BNA):  Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, received Steven C. Bondy, the US Ambassador to Bahrain.

The meeting discussed several topics of mutual interest.

Minister Fakhro highlighted the deep-rooted bilateral and strategic ties between the two countries, particularly in the trade and economic sectors.  He commended the joint commitment to strengthening cooperation that contributes to achieving mutual interests and support sustainable development.

The Minister highlighted Bahrain’s keenness to further develop cooperation with the United States and emphasised the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to enhance economic relations globally, particularly with countries that have bilateral agreements and treaties with Bahrain.

He also emphasised the role of the private sector in both countries in leveraging these agreements to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
