Interior Ministry Completes Departure Procedures for Iranian Pilgrims at Jadidat Arar Crossing

Arar, July 2, 2025, SPA -- The Ministry of Interior has completed all departure procedures for Iranian pilgrims leaving via the Jadidat Arar border crossing in Northern Borders Region.
   This was carried out in implementation of the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and based on the recommendation of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The aim was to facilitate the needs of Iranian pilgrims amid the current circumstances in their country and to provide them with all necessary services until conditions allow for their safe return home after completing Hajj rituals for the year 1446 AH.
   The ministry, represented by its sectors and affiliated entities, mobilized all human and technical resources to facilitate the movement of Iranian pilgrims. The ministry coordinated with relevant authorities to ensure smooth and organized pilgrim transport to the border within an integrated service and security framework.
   These efforts come as part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian commitment to support and assist Iranian pilgrims in light of the current circumstances in their country, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s honorable image in serving pilgrims.
