Ambassador to Canada attends Canada Day celebration

Washington, July 3 (BNA): Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Canada and resident in Washington, took part in a Canada Day celebration organised by Global Affairs Canada on the occasion of the 157th anniversary of Canadian Confederation.

The ambassador extended his congratulations to Anita Anand, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, as well as to the Government and people of Canada, wishing the country continued progress and prosperity.

Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid highlighted the strong relations between Bahrain and Canada, emphasising the Kingdom’s keenness to enhance cooperation with the new Canadian government in ways that support mutual interests across various domains.
