New Data Displayed at Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum

 Pyongyang, July 18 (KCNA) -- Lots of historic data, wartime relics and photos have been newly found and displayed at the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum in recent years.
Among those newly displayed are photos of President Kim Il Sung's work "On Measures for Combating the Enemy's Bacteriological Weapons" (speech made at the Enlarged Meeting of the Military Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, February 20, 1952) and book "By wisely leading the struggle to smash the bacteriological war of the U.S. imperialists", major slogans set forth by the President in the days of the Fatherland Liberation War and visual aids on major patriotic movements conducted by people behind the front.
Newly displayed at the hall of the DPRK heroes of the museum are photos of heroes of the Republic who performed distinguished feats for the country and revolution and the data of their feats.
Certificates of Distinguished Military Service Medal bearing the august name of President Kim Il Sung that service personnel kept in their hearts in the days of war and their descendants have treasured as heirlooms for dozens of years, graduation diplomas given by military education institutions at all levels, Orders of Soldier's Honor, vengeance-taking book, the national flags of the Republic fluttered at heights of battle and other relics were newly exhibited.
Bereaved families of wartime brave soldiers honoured with the title of the DPRK Hero sent to the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum medals of DPRK Hero, certificates of heroes and certificates of participation in the national conference of combat heroes.
Also displayed were a letter written by an officer of the People's Army to his home before crossing the Rakdong River, letters to soldiers on heights of battle from people behind the front and other data.
Flags of model companies of the 7th Company of the 3rd Battalion under the 53rd Regiment of the 7th Infantry Division and the 9th Company of the 3rd Battalion under the 7th Regiment of the 3rd Infantry Division were displayed.
Lots of trophies captured from the U.S. imperialist aggressors were displayed to vividly show the defeat of U.S. imperialism. -0-
