Innovations in Timber Production in DPRK

 Pyongyang, July 18 (KCNA) -- Units that have fulfilled their yearly plans for timber production are produced one after another in the forestry sector of the DPRK.
The North Phyongan Provincial Forestry Management Bureau is directing efforts to increasing the proportion of mechanization in timber production and pushing ahead with the work to meet the demand for vehicles, machine saws and other equipment.
The Tongchang, Pyokdong, Taegwan, Thaechon forestry stations and all other units under the management bureau fulfilled their yearly plans for timber production.
The forestry and mine timber production stations under the Ryanggang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau carried out their yearly plans for timber production.
The mine timber production stations under the South Phyongan Provincial Forestry Management Bureau pushed ahead with the cutting and gathering of trees to be used for timber.
The Chonnae Mine Timber Production Station and the Anbyon Forestry Station under the Kangwon Provincial Forestry Management Bureau, the Toan Forestry Station and the Toksong Mine Timber Production Station under the South Hamgyong Provincial Forestry Management Bureau, the Tongsin and Kasan mine timber production stations and the Songgan Forestry Station under the Jagang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau are carrying out their daily plans with the aim to fulfill their yearly plans for timber production. -0-
