HM King receives senior officials, highlights development and diplomatic achievements

Manama, July 20 (BNA):  His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received several senior officials at Al Sakhir Palace.

 

The meeting discussed key domestic matters aimed at advancing the comprehensive development process.

 

His Majesty commended the significant development projects currently underway across various sectors in the Kingdom, highlighting their role in serving the nation’s best interests and meeting the aspirations of its citizens.

 

HM the King also reflected positively on his recent visit to Italy, noting the productive discussions with Her Excellency Giorgia Meloni, President of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic.  His Majesty emphasised that these talks will help strengthen the strong bilateral relationship and encourage greater cooperation in various areas of shared interest.

 

His Majesty also commended His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the positive results of his recent official visit to the United States.  His Majesty noted that the visit included important talks with His Excellency President Donald Trump and senior US officials, and led to the signing of several agreements and bilateral declarations.  His Majesty said these achievements will further strengthen the partnership and cooperation between Bahrain and the United States, reflecting the strong and lasting historical ties between the two countries.

 

His Majesty further praised the recent signing of the tripartite agreement marking the United Kingdom's accession to the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA).  This follows invitations from both the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States, and marks a significant step in establishing a robust framework for security and prosperity in the Middle East.  The agreement reflects the current regional commitment to peace, prosperity, and constructive development.
