Saudi Press underscores importance of King`s launching of new projects in Madinah Region

Riyadh, July 13, SPA -- Saudi Newspapers underscored the importance
of the inspection tour of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King
Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz to the Madinah region and his launching of new
industrial and development projects worth SR 45 billion in Yanbu.

The King's allocation for the new expansion projects at the
Prophet's Mosque in Madinah city amounts to SR 4.7 billion. These
include installation of 182 sun-shades in the Mosque's courtyards.
More than 200,000 worshippers will benefit from the sunshade project,
the papers noted. The new projects to be launched by the King include
the SR 20 billion industrial complex of Yanbu National Petrochemical
Company and projects of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation, the Royal
Commission and Marafiq.

The Riyadh-based Al-Jazeerah highlighted the significance of the
visit of the Custodian the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin
Abdulaziz to Madinah region, and said the visit comes within the
framework of the field visits being paid by the Monarch to directly
supervise the development projects.

King Abdullah has been visiting all regions of the Kingdom to get
assured that all required services are extended to the citizens, said
the daily, adding that undoubtedly these visits yield positive
results.

Madinah region, like other Saudi regions in the Kingdom, has been
given a great attention by the King and the gigantic projects
implemented in the city include the economic knowledge city which
will make more than 200,00 job opportunities available.

"We should always remember that King Abdullah has ordered to
implement an expansion project at the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah at
a total cost of nearly SR 5 billion, it added.
