CDSI discloses figures of non-petroleum exports in 1Q2009 Riyadh 2

As regards the Kingdom's imports, these declined in the first quarter
of 2009 by 13 percent to SR 82, 983 million from SR 95,933 million in
the same period in 2008.

According to the report, the UAE topped the list of the countries to
which the Kingdom exported. It was followed by China, and then Qatar
and Jordan.

The GCC member states topped the groups to which the Kingdom
exported in the first quarter of 2009, and these states were followed
by the Asian non-Arab and Muslim countries, and then by the countries
of the Arab League and the countries of European Union.

The US topped the list of the countries from which the Kingdom
imported in the first quarter of 2009. It was followed by China,
Japan and Germany.

As regards trade exchange between the Kingdom and the GCC member
states, the report said the Kingdom imports from these countries in
the first quarter of 2009 jumped by eight percent to SR 4,016 million
from SR 3,731 million in the same period last year.
