Saudi Scouts Take Part in 16th World Scout Moot in Portugal

   Riyadh, July 24, 2025, SPA -- The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association is participating in the 16th World Scout Moot, hosted by Portugal from July 25 to August 3, bringing together over 6,000 scouts from around the world.
   The moot, set to officially open tomorrow in Lisbon, kicks off with an exploratory journey through several regions of Portugal as part of the “Paths” event. Participants will then move to the Main Camp near Porto, where they will spend five days engaging in activities that highlight the cultural, geographical, and traditional heritage of the host country.
   The association’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to promoting the values of dialogue, mutual understanding, and cultural exchange between Saudi Scouts and their peers worldwide.
   The World Scout Moot is held every four years and is designed for young people aged 18 to 25, while those aged 26 and above can participate as members of the International Service Team (IST).
