SRCA Deploys 24 Ambulance Teams at Grand Mosque on Friday

Makkah, August 2, 2025, SPA -- The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) intensified its efforts inside the Grand Mosque by deploying 24 ambulance teams supported by 83 male and female volunteers, to provide urgent medical care to worshippers, particularly during peak hours.
   The operational plan initially included 14 ambulance teams and 12 fully equipped emergency vehicles stationed at key points within the mosque and surrounding areas. Following a restructured field deployment and the integration of efforts, the number of teams increased to 24, operating in coordination to cover all corridors, courtyards, and entrances, ensuring rapid response to emergencies.
   SRCA highlighted the vital role played by volunteers in supporting emergency operations and providing field assistance. This reflects its commitment to empowering volunteer personnel and promoting humanitarian service values, contributing to improved quality of emergency medical care for visitors to the Holy Mosque. These efforts are part of an integrated system aimed at ensuring maximum preparedness and rapid response capability.
