Bahrain commends UAE mediation efforts between Russia, Ukraine

Manama, Aug. 14 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain commended the mediation efforts of the United Arab Emirates between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, which resulted in an agreement to exchange 168 prisoners from both sides.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Bahrain’s appreciation for the UAE’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to facilitate the release of prisoners from both sides, noting that the total number exchanged through UAE mediation had reached 4,349. The ministry also noted the UAE’s support for all efforts aimed at resolving the crisis between the two countries.
