Second-stage High-speed Tunneling Contest Held in Coal Industry of DPRK

 Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- A review of the second-stage high-speed tunneling contest was made amid the ongoing collective competition campaign in the coal industry to secure more coal pits.
The Sunchon Area Youth Coal-mining Complex and the Anju Area Coal-mining Complex emerged victorious in the group of complexes, and the Cha Kwang Su Youth Shock Brigade of the Inpho Youth Coal Mine of the Pukchang Area Youth Coal-mining Complex, the High-Speed Tunneling Work-team of Coal Pit No. 7 of the Jenam Coal Mine of the Tokchon Area Coal-mining Complex, the Tunneling Work-team No. 3 of the Coal Pit No. 9 of the February 8 Jikdong Youth Coal Mine of the Sunchon Area Youth Coal-mining Complex and Kim Hyok Youth Shock Brigade of the Soho Coal Pit of the Chongnam Coal Mine of the Anju Area Coal-mining Complex came first respectively at the socialist emulation drive among the high-speed tunneling work-teams.
All the coal-mining units under the Ministry of Coal Industry created more than 100 reserve cutting faces during the second-stage high-speed tunneling contest, thereby providing a guarantee for further increasing coal production. -0-
