Young People in North Hamgyong Province Volunteer to Work in Major Sectors of Socialist Construction

 Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- Dozens of young people in North Hamgyong Province volunteered to work in major sectors of socialist construction.
Young people in Chongjin City, and Musan, Onsong, Yonsa and Kilju counties, who have a desire to translate into brilliant reality the programme for the rural revolution in the new era set forth by the Workers' Party of Korea, asked the youth league organizations to send them to the construction brigades.
Many young people in Hwadae, Kyongsong and Kyongwon counties volunteered to work at raw material bases, etc.
Among the volunteers are young people in Hoeryong City, and Myonggan and Myongchon counties who decided to work at mines, coal mines, iron works, steel plants, farms, etc. bubbling over with the drive for increased production and economy which is aimed at implementing the decisions of the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee.
Volunteer certificates were awarded to volunteers and a congratulatory speech and other speeches were made at the meeting attended by officials concerned, youth league officials and youth and students.
Following a congratulatory performance, officials, youth and students presented bouquets to the volunteers leaving for new revolutionary posts and gave them a pep talk. -0-
