HM King sends message to US President

Manama, Aug. 16 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a message to His Excellency President Donald Trump of the United States of America, on the occasion of the successful historic summit held with His Excellency President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, in Alaska.

In the message, His Majesty conveyed greetings, extending his best wishes to HE President Trump and to the United States of America for further progress and prosperity.

His Majesty the King congratulated HE President Trump on the successful summit, which addressed the Ukrainian crisis and achieved constructive progress towards ending the conflict in Ukraine and advancing lasting peace across Europe and the wider world.

His Majesty also commended HE President Trump’s remarks in which he described the summit as a truly historic day, noting that the efforts exerted by His Excellency at this meeting represent a defining moment in the pursuit of global peace.

His Majesty reaffirmed his deep pride in the close strategic partnership and distinguished friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America. HM the King reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment to further strengthening these ties for the benefit of both nations.
