HM King sends message to Russian President

Manama, Aug. 16 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a message to His Excellency President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, on the occasion of the successful historic summit held with His Excellency President Donald Trump of the United States in Alaska. 

In the message, His Majesty extended congratulations and best wishes to HE President Putin and to the Russian Federation and its people for further progress and prosperity.

His Majesty the King congratulated HE President Putin on the positive and constructive outcomes of the summit, which addressed the Ukraine crisis and contributed to tangible progress towards ending the conflict and enhancing efforts to achieve lasting peace in Europe and worldwide.

His Majesty expressed appreciation for HE President Putin’s commitment to strengthening international peace and mutual understanding, his call for a just resolution to the Ukraine crisis, and Russia’s willingness to pursue peace.

His Majesty the King affirmed his deep pride in the close friendship and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian Federation, emphasising Bahrain’s firm commitment to continuing to develop and enhance these relations in the interests of both countries and their peoples.
