Over 250 Units Win "Lathe No. 26" Model Machine Prize

Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) -- Over 250 units in the DPRK won the "Lathe No. 26" Model Machine Prize (including twice and thrice ones) this year when all sectors and units are waging a mass campaign to bring about a surge in production by taking good care of their existing equipment to operate them at full capacity.
Workers of various units including the Polypropylene Workshop of the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex and workshops of the Pyongyang Musical Instrument Factory have registered high production results while taking good care of the equipment, thus winning the Thrice "Lathe No. 26" Model Machine Prize.
Technicians and workers of the Sonhung Foodstuff Factory and Ragwon Foodstuff Factory, that are awarded Thrice "Lathe No. 26" Model Machine Prize, are ensuring the hygienic safety of products by introducing inventions for normal operation of equipment and technical upgrading.
The swimming pool of Kim Il Sung University, the printing factory of the Central Cadres Training School of the Workers' Party of Korea, the e-library of Kim Chaek University of Technology, the Changgwangsan Hotel, the faculty of Education Science and the faculty of Mathematics of Kim Hyong Jik University of Education and others were awarded the Thrice "Lathe No. 26" Model Machine Prize.
The Mangyongdae Irrigation Management Station in Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang, the Automation Workshop of the Sangwon Cement Complex, the Sakju County Children's Footwear Factory, etc. were awarded Twice "Lathe No. 26" Model Machine Prize.
Numerous units, including the Rehabilitation Institute of Korea General Red Cross Hospital, were awarded the prize. -0-
