HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad congratulates HM King, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister on junior basketball team's victory in the Arab Championship

Manama, Aug. 18 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on Bahrain’s junior national basketball team winning the Arab Championship held in Egypt.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad underscored that the achievement reflects the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and embodies the vision of the Khalid bin Hamad Gold Generation League to prepare athletes capable of representing the Kingdom at the highest levels.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad said that this honorable achievement reflects the determination, perseverance, and high potential of Bahraini youth, which qualifies them to reach international stages.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad emphasised that this generation of players will serve as a cornerstone for the future of Bahraini basketball, commending the high spirit demonstrated by the players throughout the championship.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad also extended congratulations to the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Basketball Association, along with its technical and administrative staff and the national team players, wishing them further success.
